Now, we are back in Switzerland and are looking back to a marvelous trip through Sri Lanka by Tuk Tuk. We like to thank you very much again, that you took the challenge to organize such a crazy trip for us.

It was just great and a unique experience in a beautiful country with wonderful people, culture, history, landscapes, nature and food.

Also for Terrence and Sanny, I think it was a special and hopefully positive experience. They did their job very well. Terrence did he’s best to fulfill all our wishes and was a good tourist guide in many places and was also very helpful to find dentists because of my bad tooth. And Sanny is a very warm, sympathetic person who took care of us and the Tuk Tuk very much. He maintained and cleaned the Tuk Tuk regularly, so that we never had any problems or concerns with it. It was nice to be accompanied by this two very kind gentlemen.

A great compliment to you for the chosen route and accomodations.

The variety of the kind and locations of the hotels was great, exactly to our taste: the Jetwing hotel in Negombo was very nice, the camp close to Kalpitiya with the crazy Italien was great, the Ulagalla Wallawah was amazing and we enjoyed an unexpected and wonderful New Year’s Eve there, the Aliya is ok and well located for Sigiriya, 98 acres in Ella was our favourite place, a mystical place in the tea-mountains, and the Galle Fort Hotel was the authentic place to be in Galle.

The mixture of natural wonders (dolphins, elephants, birds, beaches, mountains), cultural highlights (dancing, different religious and royal sites) and daily life (encounters with local people, food, markets, fisherman, tea-factory) was a great enrichment for us.
