Hi Dileshni,

I hope you’re well. Carol and Nigel Oates arrived back in the UK on Saturday and had a brilliant time.

Thank you for your help organising their section of the trip, they really enjoyed it. They said their driver was fantastic (very knowledgeable) and their highlights were Horton Plains, the train ride and the Temple of the Tooth. They also really liked all of the hotel accommodation.

They raised one small point that Jetwing St Andrews allocated them a twin room rather than a double room.

They didn’t mention it to the hotel because they didn’t notice the bedding until they had unpacked and as they were only there for 2 nights they were fine with it.

I just thought I would raise it with you in case this happened again in the future and the clients are not so understanding.

The rest of the wedding party are due to arrive back in the UK this weekend and I will let you know their feedback once I speak to them next week.

I just wanted to send you a note to say thank you so much for all your efforts in creating a wonderful holiday package for us. We had a fantastic time in Sri Lanka and we definitely hope to be back one day in the future.

The tour was perfect for us, with the right amount of culture, relaxing and travelling.

You really did help to make it very easy for us to see as much of the island as we could as well as enjoy the wedding event as well.

I would also like you to please pass on our thanks to our driver and our tour guide.

They were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about all the areas we visited.

I know our tour guide’s baby was ill on the last day so please pass on our wishes and we hope he is better now.

Dear Dileshni,
I would like to express my complete satisfaction with Jetwing car driver Dumi, who collected us from the Airport and took us to our Jetwing Negombo hotel, and then drove us to the Heritance Ahungalle hotel the next day.

Dumi was skilled, polite, pleasant, respectful, and willing to go out of his way to take us to the Bawa “Brief” garden, on our way to Ahungalle. My husband and I had very much wanted to visit this garden, and I do hope that Jetwing had no problems in permitting Dumi to take us there.

In closing can I say that my husband and I were extremely pleased with Dumi
– your Jetwing driver, and we would highly recommend this young man as highly professional of your organization.

For a week ago we arrived home after a wonderful stay at SriLanka sept 30 – oct 11.

We must thank you for the well planned trip and the terrific guide/chauffeur Titus. Briefly I can say that that the Jetwing hotels were very kindly and the personnel were engaged and had service as the first prior.

We can strongly recommend Jetwing to our friends.

My feedback on our tailormade trip in Sri Lanka in July.

Milani was very professional, and very helpful with ideas of places to visit and suggested number of days in each venue. She also dealt with all my planning requests in a timely and efficient manner and her level of service is very good.

I have to say that all the Jetwing hotels we stayed at were very good – very professional, clean, rooms excellent, and with very good service – you can certainly see that they are all very well trained. Just one hotel let Jetwing down – OZO in Kandy, where it was very noticeable that the level of service is nowhere similar to any of the Jetwing hotels we stayed at (Galle, Yala, Wellawaya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Sigiriya). The tables were dirty in the dining room, lots of staff but they’re not trained very well, and certainly not professional, and Receptionists very rude and quite dismissive. I had to reprimand staff serving at the rooftop poolside bar there (in Sinhalese so other guests couldn’t understand) for ignoring us for over 10 minutes while all 3 of them dealt with a problematic customer and paid us no attention whatsoever which is no way to deal with your hotel guests.

Also, accommodation for our driver and car was not provided there.

Special thanks must go to our driver for the tour, Rajeewa Pieris. He was always on time to collect us, knowledgeable about the various places that we stopped at, ensured we were checked into each hotel quickly, and went to great lengths to accommodate any of our requests, particularly a slight detour to our tour to fit in seeing my cousin on the way back to Colombo. He definitely made the tour a memorable one, and was very impressive. If you have something like “Employee for the month”, we would certainly nominate him as he’s an ideal candidate.

We are back home in July 2017 and will be arranging another tour – and would certainly like him to be our driver.

My husband and I are back in Singapore but we are definitely missing Sri Lanka!

I would like to take this chance to thank you for all the arrangements you made prior to our trip and for your detailed proposal that ensures that we have smooth journey and wonderful time in Sri Lanka.

I would also like to make a special mention to Mr Jaya, for his chauffeur and guide services throughout the trip.

He was most patient with all our requests and always ready to go out of his way to ensure that we maximise the short time we have in each city.

Thank you to the both of you for making our honeymoon such a memorable one and creating such wonderful hospitality for us in Sri Lanka.

Now we are home, and recovering from jetlag, I just wanted to thank you for all your work in making our sentimental journey to Sri Lanka so successful. All your arrangements worked perfectly and at all the hotels we stayed at I think that you had managed to obtain for us the very best rooms wherever we stayed.

Our driver/guide, Upali Silva, was also excellent.

He was always cheerful, humorous and courteous, and showed us some excellent sights that I had not been aware of.
My son and his family loved Sri Lanka and are already talking about doing another trip whenever their bank manager allows it to happen.

Again, my very sincere thanks for all your contributions to the success of our trip.
