The décor of the hotel is minimalistic, with a few pieces of curios such as old wooden door frames and a wooden elephant carving dating back to the Dutch period.
Where is it?
A luxury boutique hotel, Pigeon Island Beach Resort is located on a secluded beach in Nilaveli, north of Trincomalee on the east coast of Sri Lanka. Nilaveli is known the world over for its year-round sunshine, colourful coral reefs, warm blue-ocean and soft, white sandy beaches, which is mixed with mineral-rich black sand, unique to this coastal strip.
