What is it Really like?
The accommodation at Kurumba is old colonial style, with two double bedrooms and en suite shower. The bedrooms have air con and also over head fans (for those who don’t like air con) which keep the rooms cool and mosquito free. The house has a large veranda, with a high roof and ceiling fans. The living area is outside and comprises of comfortable modern cane furniture with views straight over the garden onto the beach.. The dining area is at the far end of the veranda outside the new fully equipped kitchen. There is wi-fi at the house
Where is it?
The house is situated on Mahawella beach which is a stunning 3km deserted beach with a fishing village located at the far end of the sand strip.
