Yala National Park Closure 2016
A notice has been issued by the Department of Wild Life Conservation stating that the (Ruhuna) Yala National Park will be closed for tourists from 01st September 2016 till 15th October 2016.
The closure is mainly for restoration of the habitats and natural behavior patterns of the animals living there.
As an alternative Bundala National Park or Lunugamvehera National Parks can be visited during the above period.
