Jetwing Hotels reveals fresh projects on the way
Jetwing Hotels, exhibiting at this year’s ATM, has recently launched a slew of enhancements. Head of sales and marketing, Jetwing Hotels, Ishanth Gunewardene reveals the details exclusively to TTG.
“We recently launched Jetwing Yala, set in the near vicinity of the famed Yala National Park and overlooking the Indian Ocean with beautiful sand dunes.”
Gunewardene added: “Jetwing Yala features 80 rooms, including a suite, and is all about the variety of experiences available – from signature dining, spa and wellness, to wildlife excursions and nature walks.”
Gunewardene also notes that they are just about to launch a new concept: Yathra by Jetwing, where guests enjoy their stay on the waters of the Bentota River on a luxuriously designed houseboat.
The company is also looking to expand into a number of destinations, such as Colombo, Jaffna, and the East of Sri Lanka.
Referring to Sri Lanka’s growth and development Gunewardene comments on the fact that the destination has witnessed considerable growth. He also highlights that Sri Lanka’s off season is being fuelled by Middle Eastern traffic.
