Fjordane Folkehogskule, Norway Visits Sri Lanka!

Who wouldn’t love to explore a new country for their school trip?! Literally everyone?
We are proudly and excitingly sharing the experience of the second consecutive visit by a student group from Norway organized and handled by Sri Lanka Tailor-Made and Jetwing Travels Pvt Ltd this January!
The key highlights of this tour were that they have been visiting two orphanages in Nuwara-Eliya and Colombo since 2017, which is heart-warming hence for a worthy cause. Already their hearts are filled with absolute delight thanks to the fascinating Village Tour in Habarana which has been full of Sri Lankan authenticity and ethnicity along with tapping mostly visited locations; world renowned UNESCO site Sigiriya and historical Polonnaruwa.
This group consisting 25 students are from Fjordane Folkehogskule Norway, are a very energetic troupe of youngsters who are in for exotic adventures in this island full of magical getaways. The troupe consist of the team of members of the school’s circus team aged 19-22years. The ultimate motive of these youngsters is; donate the collected fund from the fund raiser in December. Apart from their compassionate motive of lending a helping hand to the orphans, they have already fallen in love with Sri Lanka since their first visit due to the impressions created are unparalleled and have surpassed all their expectations. Their eyes have been mesmerized with cerulean waters of Mirissa, picturesque bird’s eye view of majestic Sri Lanka on top of the Sigiriya Lion’s Rock, authentic culinary, village tour in Habarana and many more.
