We have been home a couple of weeks now and are back in our usual routine. We had a great time in Sri Lanka and I must thank you again for your help putting together our itinerary. The Kahuna (formerly Shangri La) in Unawatuna was a shock. There was poor communication before we arrived, no sign that we were welcome, it was difficult to find a way in, cottage had only a tiny toilet/shower unit, toilet did not flush and shower did not work.

Elizabeth was very upset, so we walked through the village until we found somewhere nicer to stay. The Thambapanni Retreat was so much better.
